Yesterday, I had an interview and was then accepted into the Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts (Production Design and Management) course at UNITEC; I'll be one of eight students there specializing in costuming. Applied for accommodation and hoping to share rooms with my friend Lisa, who'll be studying the same degree, but focusing on stage management.
It'll be a lot of change for me. Moving away from home, either staying in student accommodation or flatting - over the next couple of months, I need to sort through and tidy all of my things at home, work out what I'm moving with me and what I'm keeping at home. May even give away or sell some things. I've also got plenty of sewing projects to work on when I'm not wanting to tidy, as well.
Really excited for next year - it'll be a lot of hard work, but it'll be worth it to follow my passion and make a career out of this.
